Planning Ahead With NYU Langone Health
Planning ahead! That’s right, many of us do not take the time to plan ahead. When it comes to planning for elder-hood, we will benefit, but most importantly our families will benefit, if we understand how to prepare for end of life. Many families struggle with making choices for their loved ones when serious medical concerns arise. A chance to fully understand the needs of the individual can only be made in advance. These “wishes” for how we are cared for can be made with an advance directive.
