What Can you we do? Move forward with Thanksgiving!
It is with thanksgiving blessings that I write this message to you.
We can find so many things to be upset with regarding life, especially in 2020. But the world doesn’t need more anger, fear, and frustration. We need to set our sights on ways that we can be appreciative and thankful for ALL things. We can each work on adjusting our mindset.
Whether you have your own health issues, or a family member or loved one that may be sick or going through something quite difficult, these situations can be the most strenuous time for our mind, body, and spirit. I encourage you as you start to experience these feelings try to turn it to them into a positive response. It’s not easy, but with a little bit of work and concentration, we can all feel at peace at all times!
As you start to experience negative feelings try to turn it into a positive response.
Let’s ALL work towards:
Patience, instead of impatience
Joy, instead of misery
Peace, instead of angst
Love, instead of hatred
Forgiveness, instead of un-forgiveness
Gentleness, instead of bitterness
Self-control, instead of aggressiveness
Goodness, instead of selfishness
As we each move towards these actions, it will make each of us better caregivers, better family members, and better members of our community.
