Greetings friends.  We have been receiving inquiries from our clients, our caregivers and the community regarding the various needs associated with planning for elderhood!  Do you have questions too?  Enclosed you will find a flyer with details regarding an upcoming “Sip and Learn” at the The Arbors Islandia West on Thursday May 4th, 4-7pm. You can speak with experts in the field of aging to assist you in understanding how to navigate through this unknown. Artful Home Care will have a table and we will be sharing more about our services and the benefits of engagement with art, music, wellness and more.  For anyone who may be looking at options for their aging loved one, or planning ahead, this will be a great chance to learn a lot under one roof!

Paint at the Parrish with ADRC

Gallery discussion and activities tailored to individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia (and their care partners) are offered monthly, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC).

Pre-registration is required for the programs, which include a boxed lunch at no charge. Please contact Michele Payne, Director of Programs at ADRC at 631-580-5100, x304 for more information and to register.

2017 Program Dates: Wednesdays, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, and November 8 from 10 am to 1 pm each day.
