For the month of August, we thought we would share some of the amazing live and virtual ways you can experience some live music, here on the East End and beyond!

Tuesday, August 5th & 19th, 2-3 pm: Summer Tea Dances at the Virtual Teal Room FREE/VIRTUAL

Presented by 305 West End Assisted Living & the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Have fun dancing down memory lane with Rhythm Break Cares. These sessions are designed for those with Alzheimer’s and their care partners, and fun for all! REGISTER HERE

Friday, August 7th, 6 pm-7:30 pm: Music on the Terrace: Julie Bluestone FREE/ LIVE at the Parrish Art Museum

Julie Bluestone, flutist, and saxophonist, has been performing her eclectic mix of Latin Rhythms and Jazz Standards throughout New York City and the East End for the last 15 years. ADVANCE REGISTRATION NEEDED REGISTER HERE

Thursday, August 20, 6 pm: Vanessa Trouble, A FaceBook Live Concert FREE/ ONLINE

Presented by Rogers Memorial Library. Vanessa Trouble celebrates the 1963 musical collaboration between the legendary Brazilian singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Joao Gilberto, and the renowned saxophonist Stan Getz, with “The Girl from Ipanema.” (On Facebook @vaness.trouble) REGISTER HERE
