Please Read: Summer Hours! Cultural Calendar! Support the ADRC!
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to let you know that we will have summer hours of operation. The office will be open Monday-Thursday 9:30-5:30, closed Friday through Sunday, June 30-September 1st. We will resume normal business hours Tuesday, September 5th. You can always call the office 631-259-6472, anytime, and leave a message. One of our care consultants will return your call as soon as possible! We should all try to take some extra time to be with the ones we love, and enjoy the season’s bounty! No time like the present!
Here are some ideas for enjoying that precious time! Check out a few cultural venues in the Hamptons to get some fun ideas for going out with your loved one or client this summer. Some events involve participation, others are for pleasure, and some offer an opportunity to get creative and be social! See what works for you!

LETS GIVE BACK! As many of you know the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center has been an invaluable resource for our community. The ADRC operates an office open in Southampton. Not only have our clients been able utilize the resources they have, but our clients also attend the Access Parish, Paint at the Parrish, program for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caregivers, and the ADRC has also provided professional caregivers (including some of the Lifestyle Companions at Artful Home Care) with intensive training in understanding AD and how best to work with and communicate with individuals who have AD. All these programs, training, and care consulting that the ADRC offers are free. For those of you have the chance to help support the ADRC and their generous efforts, I invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Art for Alzheimer’s Reception, Thursday, July 27th 5:30pm. PLEASE buy your tickets ONLINE today! I will be there, and I hope to see some of you as well!
